Soul-winning blog

I share the gospel daily with people I meet in my every day activities and life. I also try and spend an afternoon a week sharing the gospel on the streets of whatever city I am in that week. As well, I have several favourite “fishing holes” that I try to visit weekly – coffee shops and businesses – where I continue to build relationships with the same people on each visit.
This section of my blog is to share some of my experiences and the lessons I am learning as I share Jesus with people. Your comments are more than welcome – and feel free to share your experiences. It will take a short time for your response to my log to appear as they go through an approval process to ensure that everything on this site honours the Lord. Thanks for understanding.

The call to be the “salt” of the earth and “light” in darkness, has in my opinion been largely ignored. It will be an encouragement to read of your adventures in fulfilling this call, and hopefully an inspiration for others to do the same.

Thanks for your encouragement. I do plan to share as many experiences as I can as I go, almost daily, sharing my faith in my every day activities – grocery shopping, filling up with gas, getting the mail, eating in restaurants. It’s an adventure. So, when there is something neat to share – someone accepting the Lord, a lesson I have learned by sharing, a new thought on an familiar passage … I will be sharing.
And, you are right, most Christians are completely ignoring the mandate the Lord gave to His Church which is to go into all the world.
So, do you have your passport? If not, and the Lord said tomorrow to go to Uganda you would be in rebellion to His will as you would be unable to leave your country and fly to Africa. Christians need to bring their lives into line with God’s will and be ready for whatever He asks of them.
    Again, thanks for the encouragement.
