It is late one evening, actually early morning, and I have had a full day. It has been a good day with much accomplished – family, church, and ministry. And even some time just to think and pray and muse on the last few weeks of busy ministry in California and the upcoming apostolic trip into Kazakhstan. Much to be thankful for and much to pray about regarding the coming months between now and Christmas. Looking back and looking forward – much to be thankful for and excited about.
God is moving mightily in the hearts of those who are open to His leading and are loyal to His cause. God’s presence and power are evident when His people obey Him out of love – stepping out and doing what He has called us to do. As we declare the mighty works of our God we will see and do mighty exploits with our God (a promise made in the prophet Daniel’s writing). All He is looking for is people who are open, obedient and loyal. These are qualities we can all possess.
We are entering a new season where God will be adding to His Church those who are being saved. He is mobilizing His people who have been equipped and releasing them into all their world where they can tell others of the goodness of God as found only in Jesus. This new season will see an increase in our awareness of His presence and of His power. We will witness His power healing, delivering, freeing and releasing many who live in the world and are currently bound by the devil. As well, He will bring freedom to the many who are within the church and are bound by a spirit of religion and/or a spirit of tradition.
These are exciting and challenging times. There is a fresh wind of the Spirit blowing. There is newness of life springing forth – His life bringing and releasing life. And, I for one, have said yes to all He will be asking of me even before I know the extent of the changes and the possible sacrifices. If it of God then I want in regardless of the cost or the inconvenience.
Say “yes” to God today and become involved in the work He is currently doing in His Church and in His Kingdom. You will never regret the decision.
