I am currently in Yerevan in the nation of Armenia ministering to a church of 500 who are seriously hungry for the Lord. As you read this my Sunday will have ended with services in the main church in Yerevan as well as in the evening at a satellite church in Ararat – the site of the final resting place of Noah’s arc. It has been a very busy week but much has been accomplished for the Lord and His Kingdom.
Tuesday morning I leave for Russia where I will be working for a week with the leaders of a major network of churches to continue to help them as they design and reach forward into their future.
While here I have received another invite to do a summer camp (in Siberia) and have been negotiating dates to see if it can be managed with the two camps I already have scheduled for the summer in Russia. I also met with several pastors from the nation of Georgia and have received an open invitation to come and minister there as well. Again, we are working with the calendars to see what can be done to accommodate that opportunity. This would be another step towards fulfilling our God-given vision of ministering regularly in all 15 nations of the former Soviet Union.
Your prayer support and your personal interest and involvement in these trips is a powerful encouragement to me to continue to touch lives for Jesus. Knowing you care and are praying really helps during what are always long days of ministry and the loneliness that often comes with travelling and ministering away from home and loved ones. Thanks for your involvement as a local church and please know that your love and support are greatly appreciated.
