The Church is about to move forward into a new season in North America. A season where things as they have been will no longer be; where we will move from a pastoral base of ministry to a prophetic base as seen and experienced in the early Church. This new season will see us listening more so as to receive direction, and even our daily agenda, from the Lord and not from the needs of the people. We will hear the voice of our God and simply obey what it is that He is saying to His Church. We will be directed prophetically, by revelation. Read more
I was reading the story of Peter and the disciples when they went back to fishing after the crucifixion and resurrection (found in John 21). In the story they fish all night and catch absolutely nothing. In the early morning light the Lord appears on the beach and asks them how it is going. They answer that they have caught absolutely nothing. He then tells them to cast their nets on the other side of the boat and there they will find some. Without a question they do as He said – instant obedience – and they catch a “multitude” so large it stretches the nets to beyond capacity. Soon afterwards, they launch out on their public ministry as they step out to lead the new Church spreading a new kind of fishing net to catch the attention of the world and to bring individuals into the Kingdom and the Church. It worked for the Church grew at an enormous rate.
It was a normal day and I was doing what is fairly routine in my life – studying God’s Word and writing a teaching for a speaking engagement later in the week. As I was preparing the Holy Spirit interrupted my study and spoke the following words to my heart …
“It is time for My people to become drunk with expectancy and anticipation, instead of staying sober with boredom and unbelief”
As I meditated upon these words the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10) came upon me and spoke to my heart some words about what is about to happen in North America . Read more
I have been preparing the prairies for an outpouring of My Spirit which will be nothing less than a flood of the supernatural. I will flood the prairies, I will flood the prairies, I will flood the prairies, with a wave of My supernatural power. Signs, wonders, healings and miracles will explode. But more than that, the Lord of the Church and the Lord of the prairies says, that I will flood the prairies with My glory, My glory, My glory, My glory, My manifest presence, says the Lord. My kabod, My weightiness shall flood the prairies, says the Lord. And you will see unprecedented things occur – we’ve never heard of that before, where is that in the Bible? Read more
In the Church today – at least in the part that I am most familiar with here in North America – there is a serious problem with prophetic words spoken over nations and regions. There are ‘national prophets’, some valid prophetic voices and others simply self-appointed, who speak over the nation or regions of the nations sending their prophetic words around the world via the internet. Many things are spoken of, promised, warned against, and even condemned or blessed in the Name of the Lord (and the Church).
This is really more than an “insight” – it could almost be called a “prophetic warning”. I believe that God is speaking to His Church here in Canada and the United States and is warning us of a battle that is already raging for the hearts and minds of His people.
This Last Days battle is not what we would have expected. Usually our thoughts turn to the face-off between God’s Kingdom and the devil’s kingdom as seen in the revelation of John the apostle. Some believe and write that this Last Days battle will be between the real Church and the apostate church; others that the battle will be between two world religions – the Christian faith and maybe, with events that are unfolding today, the Muslim faith. But, God is speaking to His Church about an internal battle where the enemy is within the fellowship and not attacking from the outside. Read more
